Synopsis of book:
A dangerous alliance between a Vampyre bride and an Alpha Werewolf becomes a love deep enough to sink your teeth into in this new paranormal romance.
Misery Lark, the only daughter of the most powerful Vampyre councilman of the Southwest, is an outcast—again. Her days of living in anonymity among the Humans are over: she has been called upon to uphold a historic peacekeeping alliance between the Vampyres and their mortal enemies, the Weres, and she sees little choice but to surrender herself in the exchange—again…
Weres are ruthless and unpredictable, and their Alpha, Lowe Moreland, is no exception. He rules his pack with absolute authority, but not without justice. And, unlike the Vampyre Council, not without feeling. It’s clear from the way he tracks Misery’s every movement that he doesn’t trust her. If only he knew how right he was….
Because Misery has her own reasons to agree to this marriage of convenience, reasons that have nothing to do with politics or alliances, and everything to do with the only thing she’s ever cared about. And she is willing to do whatever it takes to get back what’s hers, even if it means a life alone in Were territory…alone with the wolf.

Review:
Hello book besties!Today I will share with you my review on Bride by Ali Hazelwood.I finished reading this book 3 mintutes before the clock strikes 12 on December 31.So,It was my last read in 2024.Let’s get started.
Honestly when I first heard about the book’s story,I liked it.Since I enjoy reading fantasy books with vampires and werewolves when they’re done right.I didn’t know what to expect since I only ever read contemporary romance by Ali Hazelwood.Even though I heard good reviews on this book.
The story is simple yet complex(if that makes sense). She blended the simplicity of a girl trying to find her missing best friend with a story of vampires and werewolves.Actually,it was really nice. Also the fact that she made the existence of vampires and werewolves based on science not magic was a new but welcome concept to me.
The characters are well written as well.Misery, the main character is not my favorite female character that I’ve read, but I liked her.And I especially liked the fact that she was a white hacker.Since it’s a cybersecurity job and I love cybersecurity. To be honest at first I was confused by her very weird name that I don’t like. After reading, it made sense why she was given such an unusual name. Even so, I still don’t like it. On the other hand, Lowe, the male lead. He’s charming, well-written, and his chemistry with Misery was great too.

Overall, Bride turned out to be a fantastic read.If you’re into fantasy with a sprinkle of science and good romance, this book is the right choice.
Happy reading📚✨
