Review

I found the story of this series thrilling and unique.The idea of 5 teenagers having unnatural abilities that makes them a natural.And They work with the FBI and help them solve cases is quite intriguing.

The author’s writing for mystery is very well done,I loved it since reading The Inheritance Games trilogy.She makes you look in all the wrong directions and shock you with the real culprit.

The characters in the book are all very different from each other and have special abilities.They all have hard and painful pasts which shape what ability they acquire.Cassie,the main character was nice.Not my favorite ever,but fit for the role.I liked her.And I also liked Michael and Deal which made me Hate the love triangle between them even more just like in The inheritance games.I despise this trope.Sloane is a very unique and reserved character who is a genius with numbers and hacking.And finally Lia,she got on my nerves at first.A lot.But as I read through the books she grew on me,I will not lie.

Sterling and Briggs had a nice chemistry.Judd was a very grandpa like character,he was very warm.Celine was a nice addition to the team,too.

The first book was fun to read.It reminded me a little of A good girl’s guide to murder,since it kinda has the same theme.The next two books were kinda boring to me,but not bad.But the last book.OMG,the last book was literally what made the series even better.The mystery,the plot twist and everything was insane!

The story completely took a different turn and it shocked me!The ending was shocking,sad and satisfactory.
