Review

Writing: At first when I started reading the book , I found the writing a bit standoffish for some reason and I was having trouble blending in with the book, but then as I read , it got better and I found the writing good. I think my book slump was playing tricks on me at first.

characters & plot: Honestly the characters are nice and well written but they’re not significant , its a typical type of characters. That being said, I think each character fit into their role and played it nicely. As for the plot , I enjoyed reading this story. It’s a mix of howl’s moving castle (my fav movie) and maybe caraval trilogy. But it’s simpler , fast paced and full of surprises. It was just what I needed in my book slump honestly. And just when I thought this book couldn’t get better , the plot twists came and made it cooler.

Romance: The romance was cute and since it’s YA , thankfully not too much. It’s a perfect ratio.
